
Anthony J. Towstego, President, Thomega Entertainment Inc., (and Tri Media Productions). Has twenty four years experience as a producer of feature films, dramatic television series, documentaries, corporate, commercial, and educational films and videos nationally and internationally. Anthony has an award-winning reputation in all areas of business operations, management, strategic communications, and creative skills. His success is further recognized through his strong presence in the provincial and national film and television industry as a past producer with the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, a Juror for the Gemini Awards, an Ambassador and film Industry advisor, council member with the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Authority, a past five year member of the Board of the Saskatchewan Motion Picture Association, 1996 Showcase chairman, and on the Advisory Board of Saskfilm. Anthony regularly attends numerous film and television market events throughout Canada, the United States, and Europe.

Thomega Entertainment Inc. is an integrated entertainment company actively involved in the development and production of television projects and television series. The company has built lasting relationship with sales agents, broadcasters and distributors in Canada and around the world. Thomega’s strength lies in its ability to handle all aspects of product sales to Canadian broadcasters (including pay-per-view, pay TV, local terrestrial stations, national networks, and the new and existing specialty cable networks). Thomega has also aggressively worked to build solid relationships with several recognized Canadian distributors throughout English and French speaking Canada in order to maximize product sales. The company was founded in 1988.
Thomega Entertainment produced two feature films, in association with Minds Eye Pictures. Without Malice is an action thriller starring Jennifer Beals, Corey Haim, and Craig Sheffer. Murder Seen is a suspense thriller starring Timothy Bottoms and Callum Keith Rennie. Another feature film project is currently in development with Movie Central and Minds Eye Pictures as production partners. In November 2001, Thomega’s premier documentary, Canada Remembers: A Veterans Reunion aired nationally on the CanWest Global Television Network. This project has earned recognition nation-wide for its in-depth and sensitive approach to our Canadian War Veterans. The program was endorsed by the Deputy Prime Minister Herb Gray, and is now a key curriculum tool in schools across the country. In 2002, Thomega Produced a thirteen part television series, titled Entertainment West, which has become a “flagship” program for the Network and is now beginng pre-production for season four.
Thomega Entertainment’s strategy is to build a brand of high quality, commercial entertainment with lasting market appeal. Thomega’s product crosses a broad spectrum of film and television genres including action/adventure, contemporary drama and suspense, psychological and action thrillers and informational/documentary series.
