The success of Crisis at the American Film Market in Los Angeles in spring of 1997 gave Anthony J. Towstego an internationally recognized name from the Canadian film market. The movie is currently distrubuted by Alliance/Atlantis and is available at Select Stores and Rogers Video.

The Star Phoenix -Saturday March 22, 1997

"Saskatoon on the big screen!"

Anthony Towstego of Tri-media Productions saw a dream come true when the film "Crisis", which he co-produced in Saskatoon, was screened in a huge Los Angeles movie theatre. ...It was not a typical Hollywood premiere, no search lights or limousines or snap-happy paparazzi in front of the Mann Criterion Theatre in Santa Monica but, with its first action movie, the small Canadian city of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan hit the big screen. ...

Most recently Thomega has co-produced two motion pictures with Minds Eye Pictures of Regina, Saskatchewan. Both movies Without Malice and Murder Scene will be premiered on The Movie Network (TMN) in 2001.

Thomega has also completed filming Canada Remembers, a one hour documentary tribute to Canadian war veterans, broadcast on the Global Network.

Anthony Towstego CEO adds, "It's important to produce programs of signifigance, which represents several of our film and TV projects currently in development, and what I have been recognized for in the past."

Mr.Towstego has successfully established working relationships with, Saskfilm, SCN, Vision Network, Telefilm Canada, National Film Board, Cable Television Fund, Canadian Audio Visual Certification Office, CBC, APTN, Global, CBC, and is currently a member of the SEREDA Film Advisory Council and board member of the Saskatchewan Film Producers Association.
